W ettability is one of the main factors that affected the recovery of oil and gas in a reservoir. A reservoir need unique of wettability to produce optimum hydrocarbon. Alteration of wettability needed in some reservoir in order to get that unique feature of wettability for different type of reservoir. Chemicals can be used as the tools to help the process of the wettability alteration. There were few types of chemicals that commonly used in industry toward the alteration of the wettability. Hence, in order to find the best chemicals, the criteria and properties of different case study should be taken into account to produce a set of analysis. This procedure is called the screening process. After the analysis done by collecting the data, the best chemicals can be selected toward the suitable reservoir according to its properties.
