Abstract

This report discusses the research done on the selected topic, which is downloading simultaneously using multiple internet connections. This project shows that multiple internet connection can be used to download file simultaneously. The main idea for this project is to increase the internet speed to download a file and to optimize the usage of multiple internet connection. This report covers the scope of networking, file system and Java programming. There are internet users that have more than one internet connection such as broadband and home internet. The purpose of this project was to leverage the use of multiple internet connection a user has in order to increase the speed of download. Tools that are going to be used are network interface device such as wireless adapter, broadband dongle and Ethernet adapter. Besides, Netbeans was used to develop the prototype. This project methodology is using agile programming method as the main method in developing the user interface of the prototype. As for the result, this system successfully reduces download time to download a file by using multiple internet connection.
