Abstract

In most analysis, it always assumes that the concrete as composite materials is
homogeneous concrete which has same properties for its constituent. In this project the
concrete itself is meso scale structure that considers the constituent material properties.
This objective of the project is to develop efficiently algorithm and computer code that
will simulate the random arrangement of the constituent materials of concrete in a test
specimen and lattice element. The simulation started from the executing the data that
input by user in program language C++ and will be graphically determined in the
AutoCAD software which shows the location of particles. In executed the data, the
author will use the Bloodshed DevC++ software to gather the data and determine the
location of aggregate by giving the coordinate of the centre of particle and lattice
network generated. The overlay of aggregate location on top of lattice element will
determine the lattice element properties for each constituent of material.
