Abstract

The objective of the project is to model and simulate the stator and motor (slider) of the linear generator for the wave energy conversion in term of the reaction magnetic
properties and to find the desired output for voltage, power generated and current that can be conducted by the linear generator. The main problem of the project is to simplify the current wave energy converters (WECs) that base on the rotary of turbine to the direct drive of linear generator which can simply the system implementation. The first step of the project is to determine the dimension and properties of the system and design the 3D model of the stator and rotor (slider) using CATIA.
