Semanggol Formation: Geological and Sedimentology Study of Kg. Jabi Area, Pokok Sena, Kedah

The interesting architecture showed in the Kg. Jabi has intrigue the interest for further geological studies to identify the presence of the turbidity activities in this area of the deep water environment. In addition, the presence of the sedimentary structure such as load clast and mud cast increase the probability of success of this study. The facies map and sedimentary logging will be done in this area of Kg Jabi as it enables for the determination of the depositional environment of the area itself. Plus, the discovery of radiolarian, a micro fossil nearby can gives the details about the geological time of the area.
