This project discussed primarily on the geological study of Lenggong area, from Lata Kekabu, up to Lenggong Town with geological map as the end product. Observation of formation, sampling and some data collection on dip and strike reading are being taken throughout fieldwork that being conducted by road traversing, as well as river traversing method. Based on the stress analysis, the major force direction is from NE-SW direction. The second objective of this dissertation is to investigate the possibilities of meteorite ejecta from Bukit Bunuh that occur 1.83 million years ago, being trapped within the doline at Bukit Pecah Batu, 7km away. Samples of rocks are collected around the doline area for further analysis by conducting three experiments; thin section, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and X-Ray Fluorescent (XRF). Initial finding suggest that one of the sample collected from the doline area is a metallic meteorite due to the high amount of ferum in the sample. Nevertheless, a thorough study that is done reveals it as a hematite, based on the Mineral Resources Map of Perak. This remark is further supported by studying the nickels contain because there is no metallic meteorite with less than 5% content of nickel (Ni) while the sample only contains 0.05% of it.
