Abstract

The research presented in the thesis brings together three established but separate
disciplines-Link Failure Recovery. Path Optimization and Tum Penalties. m
undirected graphs. It specifically demonstrates on how risk of link failure m
undirected graph are tackled-eliminated or reduced, using the strategy of backup
plan, in Time-Optimized Paths. This allows a more secure, flexible and risk free
navigation in an environment that is prone to failure.
