Abstract

Geography is an all-surrounding discipline that seeks understanding of our Earth. This
report elaborated about basic concepts of geography and highlights the importance of
Geography to be included as common knowledge among society of the 21st century.
As the subject is no longer a core in some educational institutions around the world,
we should not ignore Geography in our daily lives. Therefore, Map Smash- Geography
made fun app is developed in to encourage more people to have fun learning
Geography and take the subject as both education and leisure. The report also explains
how research objectives relates to addressed issues. In developing the system,
components of the game app developed are identified and classified. Some events
within the app are also visualized in application flow diagrams. This report covers
further details about the system development including steps and approaches used in
development. System testing and user acceptance feedback are also discussed. Finally,
project deployment and future plans are included as closing of the report.
