Abstract

In this era of vast and quick technology advancement, it has changed the way we communicate, travel, shop, meet and entertain ourselves. As smartphones have substantially become a necessity to every individual, websites and mobile applications subsequently gains its significance in simplifying complex daily routines and providing quick access to information and communication. This paper describes the development of a practical local entertainers booking website. This website is developed as a common platform for the local entertainment community to gather and promote their talent to gain visibility and build relationships. With this website, event organizers can seamlessly discover, screen, communicate with, and book local entertainers to perform. It further discusses the design and implementation of the website to provide a user-friendly interface that is easy to use and meaningful to both entertainers and event organizers.
