Abstract

In an organization data storage is a crucial part of business functions due to fact that it holds key to the success of the particular organization. Data storage through Filing Management System (FMS) will not only involve the information of customers but also regarding the employees plus stakeholders which have a direct effect on organization. The existing system, typical paper-based manually written system, nowadays may not be able to cope with the rapid development in business world. That is why automated FMS ensures the survivability of an organization as it provides an efficient information transfer from within. With the technology of image storing on the database users will be able to browse for files without the trouble of retrieving the original physical document. The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is implemented on the detection part of the system which involves in storing process. Through the automated system employee will be able to access the system anytime and anywhere with just one click away which is flexible and easy for work purpose.
