Study shows that the strength of the bituminous mix is mainly affected by theinterlocking forces between the aggregates. Moreover, bituminous mix comprise of about 90% of aggregates. Knowing the important of interlocking force of the aggregate for the strength of the bituminous mix, a research to find a combination of various aggregate sizes that yield the highest packing density is necessary
