Abstract

Forecasting for electricity load is of paramount importance for the efficient and safe management of any electrical generation system for any enterprise or any country. Realizing the increasing importance of load forecasting in power systems, the author decided to do a study on this important subject as fulfillment of his Final Year Project work at UTP and thereafter implementing Artificial Neural Network Teclmique to forecast one week load for Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP). The implementation for the real electricity load forecast was carry out by using MA TLAB software. At the end of this report, the author shall also discuss his findings on Load Forecasting.
