Abstract

The purpose of this project is to construct a device that can overcome the problem
faced by domestic consumers (a consumer that does not use their private houses as a
business necessary) which they are facing low efficiency of power usage. Equipments
that consumers used in their household create losses thus more current required to
operate. In other word, domestic consumers are paying more than what they used,
thus, this project will create a device that makes consumers paying less kilowatt-hour
bill. This device will save twenty percent (20%) to thirty percent (30%) of normal
monthly electrical bill. The main components to construct this device are capacitors.
Simulation of MA TLAB is obtained to explain how the capacitors help the reduction
in cost of power usage. The methods of producing the prototype device are shown in
the following chapters.
