Abstract

The importance of indoor air quality has attracted continuous researches regarding carbon dioxide level monitor inside buildings. However, the existing carbon dioxide sensors are rather inexpensive and complex for a simple indoor usage. Hence, the purpose of this project is to design a simple, low cost and user friendly device for monitoring the indoor carbon dioxide concentration for indoor environment. To design a low cost yet reliable carbon dioxide level detector, the appropriate sensor is needed. Several experiments have been done to test the outcome of the project. The project has successfully achieved the objective with the product of low cost, simple and user friendly carbon dioxide level detector for indoor air quality.
