Abstract

Generally, bonded Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) magnet is fabricated through compression bonding process using wet method which is more tedious and time consuming. The NdFeB melt spun ribbon powder is mixed together with polymeric binder in acetone solution and has to wait for the mixture to vaporize and become in paste form before being compressed in specified compression load. Then, the mixture will be cured in the oven for hours which is more time consuming.
