Abstract

A microcontroller is built in with required peripherals and memory inside a single integrated circuit thus making it possible to run on its own. It is programmable and can be done in multiple times using high-level language command such as C/C++ Language or low-level language such as Assembly Language. In this project, Microcontroller PIC series from Microchip is fully utilized to create a video game dubbed as "Pong". The microcontroller will be designed so it will able to render and control the synchronization of output signal, able to handle control input such as
from variable resistor or gamepad and display corresponding output to the Video Graphical Array (VGA) monitor. This project is to determine the program and algorithm used by the microcontroller to reach its end objective.
