Abstract

Magnetic induction method and a-FezOJ nanowires have been proven to be able to
produce ammonia and urea under ambient temperature and pressure but it lacks
fundamental understanding of the mechanism of magnetic induction to affect the
reaction equilibrium. Therefore, the effect of the a-FezOJ nanowires morphology and
the process parameters were observed. The acid concentration that used for wire
treatment, synthesis temperature and duration are the significant factors that will affect
the morphology of the a-Fez OJ nanowires. The best a-FezOJ nanowires can be produced
by simple annealing method under the condition of 620 oc of synthesis temperature,
110 min of synthesis duration and 16 M of HzS04 concentration for acid treatment
