Abstract

The project aims to increase the security aspects in the health system in Malaysia. Doctors and nurse may sometimes difficult to track the record of the patients and the patients will have to wait to get the treatment. The system also may be vulnerability as there is no protection of the current system of the health system. The goal of the project is to ensure the security authorization of the health system which it can protect the data of the patient’s record as well it can minimize the time consumption for searching the data and booking for the treatment. The scope of the project is in Perak vicinity, with consists of government and private hospital system. By using Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, a survey and observation are developed for the purpose of data collection of the following; to study on the gaps of the current system by the user. The development of the prototype for the project to solve the identified problems is by implementing the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). The enhancement of the current health system by using biometric sensor which it will secure the data of the patient’s record for the authorization and it eases the user to track on the record. Moreover, it can reduce time for the patient to book for the treatment. Results of the findings will have future enhancement by improving the design and development of the secure system.
