Abstract

When someone needs any help for tasks, the question arises because of lack of
availability of a professional service or a trustworthy service provider who offers
faultless service on request. Thus, service provider mobile application is very useful
to everyone. The on-demand service platforms are incredibly useful for someone who
needs to rely on services such as plumbing, software or hardware development or even
finding freelancers for data entering or delivery. The service provider application
consists several different categories and services. There are only two users in the
application, first are providers of service and thus the other is a customer. Hence this
paper provides an overall idea of Hire Trusted Professionals and Freelances for Any
Services: Mobile Application. This mobile application is going to contribute a big part
in ‘gig economy’ as a lot of people are losing jobs in Malaysia due to Covid-19
Pandemic. In addition, past literature was collected to create the mobile application
idea, using agile methodology, as the basis for application development. This paper
also consists survey on Malaysian Hiring Services. The result illustrates the developed
mobile application which will be useful to request all kind of tasks such as home
services and other services in Malaysia. On the other hand, this mobile application is
hoping that a lot of job seekers or part timers to join in gig economy to earn money. In
future, there are several functions are expected to be added on this application which
is geolocation, help centre and availability for the service providers.
