Abstract

The latest 2019 coronavirus (COVID-2019), which first appeared in Wuhan
City, China in December, has spread rapidly and become an outbreak throughout the
world. It has had a devastating effect on both everyday life, public health and,
consequently, the global economy. In order to avoid the further spread of this disease
and to rapidly treat infected patients, it is very important to identify positive cases as
quickly as possible. As there are no specific automated toolkits available, the need for
auxiliary diagnostic tools has increased. Recent experiment results obtained using
radiological imaging techniques indicate that such images contain substantial COVID-
19 virus detail. The use of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) methods, including
radiological imaging (x-ray), may be useful for the precise diagnosis of this disease
and may also be helpful in overcoming the shortage of skilled doctors in remote
villages. An alternate model for automated COVID-19 detection using raw chest Xray images will be provided during this study.
