Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0 is known as the fourth industrial revolution,
conventional manufacturing and business processes are constantly automated
using innovative smart technology. It has been introduced by manufacturing
that operated in Germany. This innovation of IT development changes from
the manufacturing process that involved machine to digital automated
production in the production line. The purpose of the articles and reports is to
establish IT solutions to improve the counting method of clothing production
quality. It also offers insight into the method and process of improved
surveillance of clothing in the fabric production line via an image processing
algorithm that reduces the uncertainty workflow throughout actual clothing
storage and conversion of clothing details into quantity. It also helps the
verification of the number of garments in every department in the production
line. The problem in the apparel industry that involved calculating the
garments may be revealed the existing procedure system has presented many
issues, including dual-manual work or unnecessary engineering. The focus in
the apparel industry is to ensure all the processes in the production line get the
identical garments without any redundancy of the output process. By
implementing the Internet of Thing (IoT) in the apparel industry, it will
increase the efficiency of the garment’s quantity output process per day. The
project’s purpose is to enhance the tracking method of garments’ quantity by
implementing image processing in the mobile application. There are many
advantages when the apparel industry implemented image processing during
sorting the garments product to obtain the accurate quantity in the production
line. The worker or user just used the camera that has an image processing
algorithm to do the sorting. The camera will be connected with the mobile
devices that installed the fabric sorting application to capture all the
information and quantity of garments by using the Bluetooth or server. For the
next subsection, illustrates more information on the basic application process
and software.
