Abstract

The development of the offshore industry commenced with the use of fixed structures. As
development accelerated with the discovery of oil and gas in deeper water, the use of floating
structure have become popular and commonplace. Among those floating structure is FPSO. It is
proposed in this project to evaluate and compare motion RAOs of specific FPSO with different
loading and mooring configurations in Malaysian waters with operating criteria for three different
locations. ANSYS Aqwa simulation software (version 18) is used to get the motion RAOs. For
validity of FPSO model, previous study model will be used to compare the results.
