Abstract

The rising demand for the world’s energy has inspired the development of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). Indeed, several techniques, for instance, water flooding and gas flooding have been applied beforehand to further increase oil production in a certain field. Nevertheless, there are still valuable quantities of residual oil that are left and cannot be extracted out with secondary recovery methods.
