Abstract

Microporosity is widely known to have a large impact on petrophysical evaluation and eventually the volumetric calculation. Erroneous values for petrophysical parameters are repeatedly dealt in the oil and gas industry which one of its contributing factor is the presence of the microporosity capable in occurring in both, siliciclastic and carbonate environment.
