Abstract

The wastewater generated from McDonald’s outlets contains oil and grease may solidifies in sewer lines. The production of food also generates a huge amount cooking waste residue that cause lots of waste generation. This research is to characterize the wastewater and quantify the components and to conduct a feasibility study of co-digesting McDonald’s wastewater with sludge using the anaerobic digestor.
