Email text analysis web application for emotion recognition using sentiment analysis

While sentiment analysis for social media sites and web data has been a developing topic of research in text mining, research on email sentiment analysis has not been nearly as thorough, despite its widespread use in communication in our dayto-day tasks. The purpose of this study was to do sentiment analysis on email text in order to determine the emotional intentions represented in emails. This study presents a framework for email sentiment analysis based on a document-term matrix, and sentiment classification is carried out using the tidy text package using a lexicon-based approach.
