Abstract

The Malaysian construction industry plays a vital role in the economic progress of country. On the other hand, the annual increase in the number of fatalities and accidents at high-rise building projects is a serious concern, and statistics are alarming. As a result, this research aims to provide a framework for safety management to mitigate construction accidents and improve safety measures in high-rise building projects for safer construction. To accomplish this aim, a comprehensive literature review was carried out to identify the safety factors, and a questionnaire survey was conducted with construction projects’ stakeholders.
