Abstract

This research investigates the use of rubber seed shells (RSS) and coconut shells (CS) as precursors for activated carbon (AC) production, targeting CO2 capture. The study emphasizes the comparative efficacy of malic acid and potassium hydroxide as chemical activators in modifying the CO2 adsorption characteristics of AC processed via microwave heating.
