Abstract

In a natural gas production facility, an acid gas removal unit (also known as AGRU) system is specifically made for extracting acidic compounds such as hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from the natural gas. Faults such as foaming, damaged trays, and fouling are some of the typical problems that may occur in the AGRU system.
