Abstract

Emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) has been used to extract heavy metals such as zinc (Zn) and lead (Pb) from electroplating wastewater due to its high selectivity, simple process and low operating cost, hence it has a high potential for the use to be expanded compared to other current conventional treatment processes.
