Abstract

The production of FAME for the use of biodiesel is increasing annually in countries like Malaysia and Indonesia and is heavily subsidized by the respective governments. In order to combat the risk of adulteration or reduction of FAME in biodiesel blends, a portable on-site detector was developed to quantify the FAME content in the biodiesel blend itself.
