Abstract

Textile industries produce a lot of cotton that is wasted in thousands of tons each year. This study focuses on how this cotton waste can be used to produce ethanol which can later be used as a fuel. The first step was the pre-treatment of cotton linter by soaking it into an alkaline solution.
