The purpose of this report is to deliver the progress research work for author's Final Year Research Project 2. This study consists of conceptual design the C02 gas separation via hydrate formation and economics evaluation of this process and comparison with other conventional processes. The basis for hydrate process design gathered from several literatures. Then the process is simulated using CHEMCAD process simulation software. There are several important design considerations during simulation. From the simulation results and conceptual design, the economics are evaluated. In general, this research project has potential advantages in terms of economics and environment as long as detailed conceptual design is don
