Abstract

Queue Management has been an issue for a long time in many organizations especially in banks and government departments. Due to the growing technology nowadays, it is not only important to provide convenience to the public consumers, but to help the person behind the counters to manage the existing queue so that the service will be delivered efficiently and effectively. Droid Queue Management System (DQMS) is invented to address the problem in managing queue in the organizations thus will improve the satisfaction of the public consumers as well as the organizations. DQMS will provide the consumers with a digital number, instead of paper ticket number, which is synchronized with the counter system. This study will be focusing on the organizations side on managing the queue from behind the counters.
