Abstract

This project is mainly design for automated guided system. This system canlead to detect any other object with the space constraint without any operation by human being. It means that this system has the brain in order to control its movement by getting signal from its sensor. This paper describes a mechatronics project completed by undergraduate mechanical and electrical engineering students. This project had leaded an author to combine his knowledge in mechanical design, analysis, electronics, sensoring and control, and, the most important, his creativities to complete a prototype of an autonomous guided vehicle (AGV). Implementation andprogress of the AGV project is then reported.
