Abstract

In today's increasing demand on productivity, availability, quality, safety and environment, and the decreasing profit margins, operation and maintenance cost for an onshore plant can be an important ingredient in determine a make or break of an engineering business. Equipment, instruments, process, are all related to asset management tools. Asset management tools are important to reduce production and maintenance costs. In other to compete in this global world, companies must developed all areas and aspects of assets, processes, and systems that are carried out. However, due to many factors for example, equipment aging, and the expansion of operation and projects, leads to the company's effort in evolving their maintenance practices and strategies. This requires constant review and update for future challenges.
