Abstract
The ongoing trend in reducing greenhouse gases emission in passenger cars require a high engine combustion efficiency. The more efficient it is, will absolutely reducing greenhouse gases emitted from the exhaust system and carbon dioxide is reduced proportionally. An analysis on the greenhouse gases mainly the carbon dioxide is conducted by using On-Board Diagnostic device and Bosch Gas Analyzer that is attached on the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and at the end of exhaust tailpipe respectively. In this project, 1.6L CFE Turbocharged engine was used to run the On-Road Constant Speed Test and New European Drive Cycle (NEDC) on chassis dynamometer.
