CO2-EOR is an alternative found to meet the increasing oil demand as well as the depleting of most of the oil field that reach its maturity and depletion point. However, not all the reservoir in the world is suitable to use CO2 injection. There are three important oil basins in Malaysia which is in the East of the Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak. Thus, it is very important and crucial to know if the CO2 injection can be implemented in the Malaysia oil field. One of the oil field in Malaysia is chosen which is the X-Oil Field, Sabah. The study of the feasibility of the reservoir model by using the X- Oil Field, Sabah properties is performed. The objectives of the project is to determine the feasibility of CO2 injection as the Enhanced Oil Recovery method in X-Oil Field, Sabah and to determine the best parameters that will have the highest oil recovery rate within the limit of water cut and gas oil ratio based on the sensitivity analysis performed. The parameters are the location of the well, the injection rate, the types of injector wells and the types of injector fluid. This paper will discuss the properties of the reservoir, simulation method using ECLIPSE and also data analysis. The sensitivity analysis can be done by using ECLIPSE100 to simulate the program and OFFICE will then be producing several graphs which will help to determine the best parameters to obtain the highest recovery factor as well as reasonable value of field water cut and gas oil ratio. The results before and after the CO2-EOR performed in X-Oil Field will be compared in terms of amount of additional oil recovery and the profit gained. Overall, this project aims is to study the feasibility of the model in ECLIPSE as well as to determined the feasibility of the miscible CO2-EOR in the X-Oil Field, Sabah. It is also to know the effect of it towards the X- Oil Field, Sabah with different parameters involved.
