Abstract

In the past time, surfactants were used to increase oil recovery by lowering the interfacial tension between fluids of a multiphase reservoir. Later on, many researchers
have focused on how to use surfactants to alter the oil wet reservoirs to water wet reservoir to increase their ultimate recoveries.
