Abstract

The purpose of this project is to develop a device which can monitor the contents of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in cooking gas cylinder thus, can alert the users every time
the gas is almost finish. As a solution, a device called Domestic Gas Monitoring Device is designed to overcome these difficulties faced by the users. Besides, the device can estimate the time available for the gas before it finishes. This monitoring device alerts the users by using display and buzzer. As the weight of the tank decrease to certain level, the buzzer will sound and the display will show the amount of gas left so that users will have time to prepare or replace with a new gas cylinder. Therefore, users will not face any difficulties or stuck in between the cooking when the gas runs out.
