Abstract

Optimization of CUF generation during parallel operation electric with utility system was taken as a title for Final Year Project. The objective of this project is to optimize real and reactive power output of CUF generation during parallel operation with electric utility system. During parallel operation with electric utility system, field excitation and fuel input need to be optimize in order to prevent reactive power outflow to the utility system. These in turn, reduce the generation cost. The collection of technical details and data regarding the power flow at CUF plant was conducted then being modified to fit with the requirement of the simulation program.
