Abstract

At present moment, movement of inmates is monitor manually and become troublesome as their numbers are increasing. If they were to escape it is difficult to track them. The main objective of this research is to developed RFID based prototype that will be able to track movements of inmate in the prison. This technology offers numerous advantages over traditional methods. The way of project implementation is each inmate will be tag with RFID tag and antennas will be placed at strategic locations which will be monitored by prison warders in the control room. Prison warders can monitor in control room by using system software developed by combination of several programmes.
