Abstract

The main objective of this project is to design and construct a working prototype of Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle with a Robotic Arm, for several of usage
such as underwater rescue, surveillance/monitoring (underwater oil/gas pipeline monitoring or underwater earthquake monitoring to predict tsunami and etc. ),
underwater mapping, searching and inspection. This system will combine the use of PIC Microcontroller and some sensors to build the underwater ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) with Robotic Arm. The processor use is to navigate and control the ROV mechanism such as the thruster, sensors, the communication and the control modules.
