Abstract
The inspection and the maintenance of the pipeline is a very good aspect for
investment in order to extend the operation of these pipelines for long time, by increase
the efficiency of the flow inside the pipelines, but avoiding the failure in the operation of
the pipelines is one of the big sources of concern in the recent time in the industry field.
However the methods which is existing in the present for the pipeline inspection poses
some problems that lead to slow down the inspection mission and make it ineffective as
we want it to be and for example of these problems the intense of the time. The motion
is slow and inconsistency of sensor performance. The pipeline inspection vehicle (PIG)
is very important in the oil and gas field which is provide a visual inspection for the
inner part of the pipeline and notice if there is any defects that may slow the
functionality of the flow and as well reach the locations that can be inaccessible in these
pipelines. Hence, this project is propose to use a vehicle (PIG) for the pipe inspection to
detect the damages in the pipeline earlier and faster before it become a reason of
concern.
