Abstract
Solid waste management is one of the main environmental issues plaguing in
Cameron Highlands. Almost all produced waste there is being dumped in an
unsanitary site near Tanah Rata causing further pollution loads to water streams.
Composting of solid waste is among promising methods to transform the waste
going to dump site to a useful material. In-vessel technique is a fast and effective
method for production of high quality compost.
