Abstract

Catalytic hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) is one of the most promising technique to convert vegetable oil into diesel range hydrocarbons commonly known as green diesel. Generally, for HDO process, catalysts are introduced in sulphided form, that contaminates the product with sulphur and increase the coke deposition ultimately responsible for the deactivation of catalysts
