Abstract

Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor System (CSTR) is a typical chemical reactor system with complex nonlinear dynamic characteristics. The system is SISO, the output being the concentration of a product compound C and the input being the coolant flow rate. There has been considerable interest in its state estimation and real time control based on mathematical modeling.
