Interactive Final Year Project (FYP) Course Management System

The research topic is generally regarding developing a website system that
involves an interactive Final Year Project (FYP) course management system. This topic
was chosen due to some issues faced by the students of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS
(UTP). The main subject which allowing this project approved to proceed is that UTP
students find it hard to manage their schedule to spare time for the whole process or
journey of their Final Year Project course and also the delayed process of receiving FYP
project claims from their respective academic faculties in UTP. There are lists of
claimable expenses provided by the FYP organization. By going through all the
information provided by the experts from the FYP organization and previous UTP FYP
students, which also known as UTP alumni who had been through the process, the
efficiency of a structured process in managing a course has become the backbone to
propose this project paper to be developed into a prototype.
