Abstract
Healthcare services quality provided by Hospital are impacted by the number
of patients visit to the hospital. Due to a high number of patients visit, there are
occurrences where the number of staff allocated is insufficient to manage and serve
the high volume of patient visits. With the emergence of data analytics, data
forecasting was possible to be implemented into healthcare services. However, the
forecasting practices has been focusing on the prediction for certain type of disease
growth rate. This research paper will be working on studies to forecast number of
patient visit. The contribution of this research paper is (1) The advantage of data
analytics for resource management, and (2) Discussion on the analytics model and
proposal to import the machine learning model into web interface.
