APPLICATION OF STUDENT SECURITY SYSTEM BY USING RFID

Present day world, the number of missing children is increasing day by day. The
implementation of School Security System Application using Radio Frequency Identification
(RFID) will help to overcome and reduce worried among the parents. This project is
combination the latest technology using RFID and Mobile Application. When the student
enters the main gate of the school entrance, they must tap the RFID tag on the RFID reader
placed at the school entrance. The RFID reader will read the RFID Tag and able to identify
the student ID. By tapping the RFID card it will automatically take the attendance of the
student. This will then display on the mobile application where the students’ parents can
monitor their children’s time-in and time-out from the school. Whenever their children tap
the RFID tag a notification will be sent to the mobile application. This alert notification is to
inform that the children safely arrived at school. This project will benefit the school by taking
the attendance automatically and also informing the parents when the children enter and back
from the school. The School Security System also comes with a website where the teachers
can track on the students’ attendance. Therefore, the School Security System will helps the
school to have a better and efficient management of its student’s record and hence improves
its operation.
